Osono Di Kan Poma : "Walking Stick"
This is a remake modeled after a one of one vintage, Asante hand carved ebony wood walking stick forged in the year 1968.
Its direct translation is "Elephants take the lead". The Akans saw first hand the intelligence of the elephants and its wise behaviors amongst all the other animals. They were considered mighty and wise and so they began to attribute into symbology for future generations to learn from. That is why there is a seat on top of the elephant to encourage others be like it and ride with it to success.
It is 33 inches tall and in excellent condition. This is a relic to stand for the test of time and is a collectors item without doubt.
